To provide integration of the application with existing databases of FMFC for users and contacts along with the database for current application. To filter and provide access to content library, contacts database based on the role and type of the user. The message should be broadcasted through using existing email/fax servers of FMFC.

Iniquus created the application “Mass Marketing System” that answers all the above requirements of FMFC. XML based web services with secured access to the existing login database of FMFC were used to authenticate and identify the roles of the users. This feature enables easy integration of the application with the other existing applications of FMFC. A predefined library is integrated in the application that allows users to create messages in a jiffy. Access to this module is restricted on basis of the roles of the user. The users can create the messages by either using the canned sections or, they still have the option to completely modify the message content. Moreover, usage of place holders allows messages to be customized for each recipient. The application is also integrated with the existing contacts database of FMFC, access to which is dependent upon the roles and privileges of the user.

The application is fully secured and easy to use, which enriches and transforms the way FMFC communicates with its brokers/ employees/ customers. It allows FMFC to effectively communicate with brokers/ employees/ customers in a jiffy using pre-defined canned sections while still allowing users to modify the content.

   Project Highlights
  • The application is integrated with the existing user’s database of FMFC. Each user is verified for the available roles and privileges to access various modules of the application. The application provides for role based access for each individual module of the application.
  • As part of the administrative section, a predefined library is integrated in the application for canned sections, message headers, footers, various content placeholders (like recipient name), images for the messages, templates etc. Access to this module is restricted on basis of the roles.
  • Although the predefined canned sections and templates are available for the user to create message content, however they have options available to modify the content of pre-defined canned sections for a particular message.
  • Also, the content in the library is made available to the user while creating the message after being thoroughly filtered for the role and privileges of the user.
  • The usage of place holders maintains that the messages are customized for each recipient.
  • This application also allows the user to attach any document along with the message. It also allows user to attach some specific system generated documents and reports, e.g.:
    (a) Broker Report Card,
    (b) Broker Pipeline Review,
    (c) Rate Sheets etc.
Such specific documents that can be attached with the message depend on the privileges of the user and the prospective recipient type of the message.
  • The message being created can also be previewed by the user at any step, to ensure how the message will appear to the intended recipients.
  • All sent or previously created un-sent messages are archived and displayed to the user. These messages can be re-used, avoiding the process of re-creating the same message all over again.
  • The existing contacts database of FMFC is also accessed using secure XML web services, and the data is filtered on basis of the roles and privileges of the user.
  • Based on the user’s access rights and privileges, he/she can search through the contacts database and extract a list of recipients to broadcast the message.
  • User can save this list of recipients and archive it for using in other messages.
  • The application also allows broadcast of the message to the recipient over the email or fax. This depends on
    (a) Whether the information has been provided by the recipient with regard to his mail address and fax number, and
    (b) What way of communication has been chosen by the recipients
  • Context based full featured help section is also integrated at each module.
