To bring out the unusual theme of the website and generate an interest in global travelers to use the Unusual Hotels of the World (UHOTW) online guide as their preferred choice for locating unusual hotels. In addition the site needed to provide the users with hotel information in a quick and engaging manner.
An Intro flash animation depicting a visual panorama of the unusual hotels of the world was designed to evoke the user’s interest and create the unusual theme. An interactive map finder was also created in macromedia flash that enabled the user to browse first by region and then by country to find the hotels of their choice. In addition a keyword and an advanced search was provided to quickly find hotels by location, budget and type.
An easy to navigate, interactive website that brings out the UHOTW identity and captures the attention of hotel-owners and travelers alike.
